The Atlantic Course and Cornish coastline at golden hour, seen from the resort

A Glorious Stretch of the Cornish Atlantic

Where the land runs out, the day begins.

A century-old idea of escape, reimagined on 320 acres above the sea — championship links, a headland spa, two kitchens and eighty-four rooms, gathered on one Cornish headland.

Discover the Resort

Welcome to Pendrennan Bay

Not a hotel with a course attached, but a resort built around the sea at its centre.

For thirty-five years we have kept one promise: that everything here lives within a ten-minute walk of everything else. Golf at first light, the thermal suite by noon, a long table under the Glasshouse glass after dark — one arrival, one place to set your bags down, and a coastline that does the rest.

The Atlantic Course

Eighteen holes that argue with the wind.

A Mackenzie-Ross routing reworked for the modern game in 2018 — out along the cliffs, home through the dunes. Host of the Atlantic Links Championship and, for our money, the finest stretch of coastal golf west of the Camel.

The Headland Spa

After the round, the rest.

Salt-water hydrotherapy, a cedar sauna and a relaxation deck that hangs over the bay. Treatments drawn from the Cornish coast, and a quiet the sea seems to keep on our behalf. Open to day guests, Tuesday to Sunday.

Two Kitchens

The day begins and ends at the table.

The Glasshouse pours all-day coastal plates under forty feet of glass; the Cellar Room turns the lights down for tasting menus built around the Newlyn day-boats. Both look out over the same water you played beside that morning.

The Stay

Eighty-four ways to wake to the Atlantic.

From dune-view doubles to the two clifftop suites with their own terraces, every room faces the weather and the water. Breakfast runs until ten — because you are, after all, on holiday.
